Problem solving: Five reasons why I am not able to find solutions.

Problem solving: 5 reasons I am not able to find solutions.

Life is a trip full of setbacks , problems but of course also a journey of joy and happiness. When you have a problem in our life, in our job, often you feel you are not capable of finding a solution. As a consequence we may become emotional, unbalanced and detached from reality.

Try to check the next possible five reasons why you may not be finding a solution for your problem:

Ignacio de Grado

1   I am not looking in the right place

The solution may be in front of you but one of the reasons you don’t find it is because you are not looking in the right place. In case of an emotional problem , a problem in a personal relationship it is quite difficult to be objective. You may think others are guilty, and not you, and quite often the reason and solution to the problem is within you.

If you are trying to solve a problem in a project, in your job, or simply something like trying to fit a new furniture in your new apartment, stop for a minute and just observe. Pay attention to the factors you have been considering for now and look at different ones. Probably there is something you were not paying attention to. Something your mind thought may be not important, but probably it is mor significant than it looks. Observatiomn is great to find solutions. Silence. Once you identify other parts you didn’t look in you maybe finding the beginning of the solution for your problem.

2. I am not focusing well

Focus is key in your life. Keeping concentrated and being able to pay full attention to the task you are carrying out or to the items you have around you is a much more difficult task than it looks. Mind is prone to distractions, emotions, and easily we lose the focus on what matters.

In order to focus better, you have to train your discipline, introduce healthy habits in your life, sleep well regularly, not eat too much when working and even better if you introduce some mindfulness practice in your life as meditation. Focus on the wrong things makes you not use your energy in a positive way. GRADO Inspirational decks are excellent mindfulness tools to make you focus better and become more productive.

3  I am not intuitive enough

Intuition is not an inborn talent. Intuition is something you get better at through experimentation, discipline, observation and perseverance. I like to understand intuition as some kind of whisper from our inner self that suddenly gives us a solution for something or opens a door for an unexcepted way that eventually will solve the problem. Generally the older you are, the more experienced you are the more intuitive you will be. Sometimes you may not be ready to solve a problem, this is true, and usually is because of a lack of experience. Sometimes you have to wait for the right time in your life to be able to find solutions for something.

4  I am not able to discern priorities

Solving a problem can be sometimes a long task. A personal problem may take long time to solve, if you are affected emotionally by negative circumstances around you. Discerning priorities and goals within the solution of the problem is key. Not identifying priorities correctly will drive to sometimes even worse circumstances. When you have a problem, first take some time, and observe, allow also silence, let your inner self reveal for you what really matters. Use as much time as you need in this stage of any solving problem process.

5 I am not disciplined enough

This is an important one. Sometimes it is hard for you to see that you are not working hard enough. You tend to look for excuses when things do not work well instead of looking inside you. You follow distractions and break your balance. Nothing worthwhile can be achieved in life without discipline and perseverance. Talent is just a good starting point.  As a result, a lack of discipline affects very much our capacity to solve problems. Solving a problem demands often dedication and work, experimenting and working hard within ourselves.

We have in our brand GRADO excellent tools to work within you to solve problems. To become more intuitive and more balanced.
